Setting our love upon God

"Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because He has known My name."-Psalm 91:14
The media nowadays influence us to celebrate Hearts' Day with our loved ones, our family and those people who are dear to us, not requiring us to have a significant other to be able to celebrate 🎉 Hearts 💕 Day. Yes! As long as we have a heart, then celebrate the season. All of us might have come to a point in our lives where we felt wretched and singled out, but there is one thing we can be certain of: We set our love upon God and find satisfaction that God waits for us to pour out our love unto Him. He loves us first. No other kind of love comes close.
Let it be a consideration for us to set our love upon God and even find purpose showing and doing it.https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10211983589488168&id=1325839668&set=a.1273434199052.2037870.1325839668&source=48

book review: Anak ng Jueteng

"AnakngJueteng"
Author: Ariestelo "AA" Asilo
This is an autobiographical book by a son of a kubrador stating how he survived and diligently aced financial struggles all throughout his student life being a son of a kubrador. His father furnished for the household's basic needs because of this "profession".
Meanwhile, I had spotted an episode of a mainstream teleserye depicting that jueteng should be abolished, and lead persons, of course, jailed. This gave me the idea that jueteng is an unacceptable practice, ideally, at the least.
Partly yes, yet no to the "juetengero" son who has been competitive in life through having been given this kind of life.
Narrating on facing the hardships of life, the author had wittingly expressed the naughtiness of his boyhood. The one quality that I would admire of any author- SHAMELESS. He would have been taken as a laughingstock, but who cares?
I would love to recommend you sympathizing with how the young boy was able to help himself through selling and earning from sweepstakes ticket. The then young boy, now a grown-up and professional man, had actually used the skills with me. ðŸ˜…. Not to mention, by the last part of the story, he won patrons, these ticket buyers who also in turn, helped him with food provision ranging from affordable to free of charge.
Having the chance to mingle with him during college, I saw his industry as he found ways and means to support himself financially while studying. I can remember one of them is CHEM 40 (Organic Chemistry) tutorial rendering.
There is little that I know about jueteng. I have never participated here, by the way, can you actually imagine me in that set up? Shouting "Tumbok beinte" and "Pompiang disi-seis". As far as I'm concerned, I will not participate. I would just like to simply applaud him, the "Anak ng Jueteng."

My new dog is loved

I felt such bliss bringing home this new dog entrusted to me by my boyfriend. I will do my very best to take care of Bingo. His name Bingo is given by Michael's niece and my goddaughter, Ada. I know that Michael is much more loving as a pet owner than me. So I will try harder to be a loving pet owner and probably a dog trainer, I'll teach my dog to be spiritual, perhaps. As I transported this dog through public utility jeepney and tricycles, Bingo felt loved by the people around him, or at least he entertained them with his cute face. He is a shitsu and AsPin (Asong Pinoy) hybrid. We plan to travel him from time to time so if there's something I can do to have him have dog diapers , I will, instead of bringing the cage with him. It's heavy, I wish I can call the carrying of the cage a night time fitness work out. May this dog live its maximum life span.. as Michael, my boyfriend, expected.
